Audit & Accounts Senior

Job Description

A Regional Accountancy Practice based in Bolton is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team in the North West. The successful candidate will operate within a full supervisory role for their designated client portfolio, responsible for planning, fieldwork, and completion of assignments.

Reporting directly to the Managers and/or Partners, key responsibilities will include:

• Working within a mixed audit and accounts team with a split workload of 50% Audit and 50% Accounts preparation.
• Overlooking work of juniors and semi-senior staff, reviewing their progress, and offering guidance where necessary.
• Completing all engagements on time with relevant support, and suggesting potential solutions on technical matters.
• Communicating client needs and appropriate solutions with managers, and building strong relationships with the directors of the client portfolio.
• Gaining exposure to advisory projects based on client requirements.

Requirements for the role include:

• ACA-qualified (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of audit experience.
• Experience leading audit engagements on clients with annual turnovers of at least £25m.
• Driven and ambitious, with an opportunity to progress.
• Ability to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
