Butler Rose are recruiting for a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Bolton that's looking to appoint an experienced Senior Accountant. This position would suit someone with strong compliance skills, who also enjoys working closely with clients in an advisory capacity.

The role offers plenty of variety across a diverse portfolio, alongside opportunities to support junior staff and play a role in the firm's continued growth.

• Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax computations for a range of clients - including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and individuals
• Ensuring deadlines are met for HMRC and Companies House submissions
• Advising clients on tax planning, business structuring, asset protection, and software/systems
• Acting as the main point of contact for your clients and building strong long-term relationships
• Working closely with the portfolio management team
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• Getting involved in business development and networking where appropriate

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• A minimum of 10 years' experience within an accountancy firm
• Confident handling both compliance and advisory work
• Experience working with owner-managed businesses
• A proactive, professional approach with strong client communication skills
