Placemaking and Shopping Centre Recruitment Expert

Do you enjoy keeping things organised, supporting operations, and being part of a busy retail environment?

Marketplace Bolton is looking for a Centre Administrator to support the team in keeping the centre running smoothly each day. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll get involved in everything from maintenance coordination and budgets to tenant communication and safety compliance.

What you’ll be doing
  • Coordinating maintenance requests and liaising with contractors
  • Tracking budgets, raising purchase orders, and checking invoices
  • Keeping compliance documents, insurance, and licences up to date
  • Supporting audits, management reports, and financial reviews
  • Helping manage emergency procedures and safety records
  • Assisting with tenant moves, updates, and communications
  • Preparing permits, keeping access information current, and ensuring records are accurate
  • Supporting the cleaning and security teams to maintain high standards
  • Coordinating charity collections, mall activity, and community events
  • Building relationships with tenants and collecting monthly sales data
  • Providing admin support across operations, marketing, and events

  • Full‑time hours,
    Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm), with weekend duty cover on a rota (1/4 weekends) and a day off in lieu

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Confident communicator with a professional approach
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure
  • Experience in property, retail, or facilities admin is an advantage
  • Awareness of health and safety standards (training can be provided)
  • Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player
