Estimator - Steel

Position: Estimator - Steel (Permanent)
Our client is a specialist within the steel industry and, due to continued growth, is seeking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team.

The Role

The successful Estimator will be responsible for:

Preparing accurate and competitive tenders and cost estimates

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

Identifying project risks and value-engineering opportunities

Supporting both the commercial and project delivery teams

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in an Estimator role (construction or structural steel background preferred)

Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail

The ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines

Confident communication skills and a proactive approach
