Join our team in Bolton as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and work on exciting, fast-paced projects in a collaborative and nurturing environment.
About the role:
We have an exciting opening for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Bolton office.
If you're a recently qualified quantity surveyor with approximately a year or more of experience in a Quantity Surveying role then we would love to hear from you in relation to this role.
Perhaps you have started a role in the last year or two, but feel you are capable of more? Maybe you just want to experience something new whilst early in your career? You'll work as part of a highly successful team on fast paced projects within the built environment. Quickly giving you exposure to the whole lifecycle of construction projects.
You'll do all of this with expert guidance and support from our trained management team, who will work with you closely to develop your skills and experience as well as setting you key milestones to aid your development as a quantity surveyor.

How you'll contribute:
Our Assistant Quantity Surveyors support commercial delivery through clear coordination, task tracking, and effective communication. They assist with documentation, help maintain visibility of progress, and contribute to quality outcomes, all while learning from others and building confidence in delivery.
The work is varied, and you'll contribute by:
- Supporting preparation of estimates, cost plans, and procurement documentation.
- Assisting with valuations, variations, and monthly reporting processes.
- Maintaining cost tracking records and commercial documentation.
- Tracking actions, timelines, and deliverables to help maintain project momentum and accountability.
- Coordinating inputs from consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Communicating clearly with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, and following up on tasks proactively.
- Contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality commercial practices.
- Showing flexibility and a willingness to support a range of projects across sectors, clients, and accounts.
- Taking initiative to build your quantity surveying skillset by seeking feedback and learning from each experience.
