Electrical Technical Administrator

Overall Purpose of the Role

The position will be based at Head Office and will form part of the design team. As part of the role, you will be given training within the design team including CAD, Outline Design, Electrical Technical and Administration.

• Understand and update all design logs and when / where to circulate
• Action all legal functions including chasing info / circulation and updates
• POC applications / POC trackers / revalidation of POC/s and checking against tenders
• Arrange any meetings to chase missing information required and updating the relevant departments
• Review submissions packs to DNO / IDNO and draft drawings from outline designs
• Collate all information needed to send designs to 3rd parties
• Make amendments to contract drawings
• Liaise with clients/commercial to discuss design requirements
• Assess POCs, plans and design information required

• Preparing documents for review
• Attending handover meetings when required between Estimating Design & Design Operations
• Cleaning up CAD drawings and making amendments
• Maintaining departmental logs
• Assisting with customer queries

• Proficient reading, writing, and mathematic skills. GCSE grades 7-4 (equivalent to A-C) in Maths and English are essential
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
• Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills
• Have effective communication skills
• Have good organisational skills
• Be adaptable

This post will be office based due to the training and development requirements to meet the role.
