Position Overview

Seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing Building Services design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical design for a variety of exciting and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and specification of electrical building services systems
Produce detailed calculations using industry software such as Amtech, DIALux, Relux, Revit, and AutoCAD
Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of building services
Attend design team meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
Ensure designs comply with current legislation, standards, and best practice Key Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical building services design
Proficiency with design tools such as Amtech, DIALux, Relux, Revit, and AutoCAD
Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice
Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE) desirable
Full UK driving licence preferred
