Due to continued expansion, my client situated in Bolton is looking for a multi-skilled engineer on a Panama shift to add to their growing internal engineering team.

• Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner
• Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales
• Fully support improvement initiatives and development of the engineering department to enable the business to grow
• Ensure the achievements of the engineering KPIs and targets are met
• Be part of the corrective and planned maintenance programs
• Assist in the development, input and the fully utilisation of the CMMS program
• Mentor and support other team members
• Ensure a good working relationship with production and all support functions
• Ensure all company procedures and rules are adhered to;
  Health & Safety, Food Hygiene standards
• Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe
• Establish an effective working relationship with production and ensure regular communication and feedback
• Identify and implement labour saving and productivity improvements in conjunction with production teams
• Provide engineering and technical support / training for line technicians

• Good engineering knowledge gained within a maintenance FMCG or similar environment
• Self‑managed and able to demonstrate a good level of performance
• Multi‑skilled or electrical ONC / NVQ 3 or higher in maintenance engineering
• Good communication and IT skills
• Good organisation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues
