As an Electronics Test Technician , you’ll play a key role in supporting the testing and diagnostics of electronic sub-systems and circuit cards throughout all stages of the product lifecycle. You’ll work closely with operations, design, and quality teams to ensure testing is accurate, efficient, and compliant with programme and customer requirements.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for engineers who enjoy fault-finding, technical problem solving, and contributing to continuous improvement across manufacturing test processes.

• Provide test engineering support during design and development phases through to production readiness and release.
• Support testing of electrical / electronic sub-assemblies and circuit cards, diagnosing faults down to component level.
• Generate and maintain test specifications, operator instructions, and configuration control documentation.
• Support test facility setup, ensuring correct calibration and control of equipment prior to use.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve test processes.
• Maintain compliance with all programme, quality, and safety requirements.

• Minimum HNC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (HND / Degree preferred).
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics manufacture and test.
• Experience using both manual and automated test equipment within a production environment.
• Familiarity with ERP / MES systems (e.g. SAP) for test recording, non-conformance reports, and concessions.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills down to component level.
• Strong communication, planning, and report-writing abilities.
• Analytical, detail-focused, and driven by continuous improvement.
