Job Title:
Electrical Technician (Construction Department)
Salary: £25,146 - £25,990 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
As a Technician, you will be directed to provide basic/routine level technical support for lecturing staff and students in the Construction department. Part of this role will be to support the commitment to the high standards of Health and Safety, which includes termly audits in the area.
Ideal Candidate Profile- Previous experience in Electrical installations
- Enthusiasm, commitment and drive to contribute to the continued success of the College
- Minimum Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Electrical installations
- Assembling, issuing and maintaining materials
- Maintaining an efficient stock control and security system
- Ensuring adequate equipment and consumables for all sessions are available by issuing a variety of stock and equipment to lecturers and students
- Supporting students and staff within all sessions with provisions of resources including basic construction/preparation of materials, solutions, stock and equipment etc.
As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
