Salary: £28,740 basic salary per year

Bonus/OTE: Up to £33,540 per year (realistic total earning potential)

Hours: 44 per week – Permanent, Monday to Friday 7am‑4:30pm, Saturday rota 8am‑12pm occasional.

• Lead day‑to‑day branch operations with Branch Manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
• Ensure achievement of customer service, operational standards and sales targets.
• Assist with sales target delivery, developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Support branch operations, provide assistance to colleagues as required.
• Ensure team completes actions and activities on time, in full.
• Maintain branch compliance with Health & Safety, company policies, procedures.
• Undertake stocktakes and audits.
• Maintain maintenance records for branch vehicles.
• Conduct branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing and merchanting.

• Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
• Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers.
• Commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers walk away happy.
• Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
• Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry standard software such as SAP.
• Full and valid driving licence essential; FLT licence is an advantage.
• Ability to cover for the Branch Manager when required.
• Previous branch stock‑take experience an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a small team and occasionally alone.
• Experience with in a similar role ideally in trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing or uPVC environment.
