Overview
Our client is a multi‑award winning engineering firm that has numerous projects. The company is expanding year on year and winning new projects on a regular basis.
Responsibilities- Reporting to the Welding and Plating Foreman on site.
- MIG welding of structural steel to x‑ray/UT or coded standards.
- Average hours 45–50 per week, with a basic 40‑hour week.
- £15.10 per hour.
- Overtime at time & half.
- Additional £15 paid for each 5 hours of overtime per week.
- Time‑served welder, with welding experience within a structural steel background.
- Weld test consisting of butt weld with stop/start in root run and multi‑pass fillet weld on a 100 × 100 box unit at 45°.
- Must not be relocated for this role.
