CNC Programmer

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Alphacam expertise to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimising CNC programs to support efficient, high-quality production across a range of materials and components.

Roles & Responsibilities Create and edit CNC programs using Alphacam for milling, routing, or machining operations Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and specifications Select appropriate tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parameters Optimise programs to improve cycle times, quality, and material usage Support CNC machine setup and prove-out of new programs Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor Work closely with machinists, production, and engineering teams Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards Maintain accurate program documentation and revision control Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a CNC Programmer Strong hands-on experience with Alphacam (essential) Good understanding of CNC milling / routing processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies Experience working with materials such as wood, composites, plastics, or metals (depending on environment) Strong problem-solving and attention to detail Click apply now for more information
