We’re looking for an Area Development Manager with the right combination of warmth and gravitas, who can walk into a room, read it like a map, and turn conversations into long term commercial relationships. About the Role

As our Area Development Manager, you will take ownership of your territory across the North West, proactively developing new business and strengthening existing accounts. You’ll understand customers’ needs, present tailored vehicle rental solutions, and work closely with our operations team to deliver a service that feels seamless from first call to final handover.

You’ll also need in depth knowledge of our hire and contract products, enabling you to confidently guide customers through the best solutions for their business. This is an exciting opportunity to become a stakeholder within a expanding hire & leasing business, working alongside talented teammates who are driven to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business acquisition within a defined North West territory
  • Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
  • Present tailored rental and fleet solutions to businesses of all sizes
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
  • Support tender responses and long-term account strategy
  • Represent the company professionally at all times
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven success in B2B sales (vehicle rental, fleet, logistics or similar preferred)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of hire and contract products (or ability to learn quickly)
  • A natural relationship builder who enjoys being on the road
  • Self motivated with a genuine drive to exceed targets
  • Full UK driving licence
