Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Family Time Worker to work in a service based in Bolton.

Pay Rates:

- £16.43 - £20.83 Umbrella Rate

Information the Role:
Successful candidates will be offered 37.5 hours per week.

What you will be doing:

To contribute to risk assessments and protecting children and young people from danger, harm, and abuse
To plan and record interventions effectively, to support and contribute to the overall assessment held by referring social care teams
To deliver quality interventions within the Framework for Action parenting capacity guidance
To offer support and evidence-based intervention around child development using EYFS (Early Years Framework Strategy) guidance and behaviour management strategies
To work in partnership with families on protection plans in their own home, where appropriate
To communicate and work with a range of professionals and agencies ensuring a seamless service for children and families, managing, and providing information to support effective decision-making
To work alongside social workers contributing to assessments and care plans
To escort children and families as appropriate
To manage a case load effectively, delivering and reporting on agreed work tasks
To support, mentor and supervise students and volunteers across a range of service delivery
Any other duties in line with the post, which may be required from time to time
Skills & Professional Characteristics needed:

Experience of working in a multi-agency environment or team

Experience of supporting families in using services within the community and in maintaining social relationships

Experience of working with children and families support services provided by organisations and agencies across the Borough
Essential Requirements:

Relevant level 3 qualification e.g. NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC, Early Years, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Youth and Community Studies
Full UK Licence
