Information Technologies Factory Systems Specialist (MES, WMS, Industry 4.0)
We are seeking a  Factory Systems Specialist  with deep knowledge of  MES, WMS, and Industry 4.0  technologies. Working within the IT Manufacturing, Logistics & Supply Chain team, you will act as the bridge between technology and our production lines.

Your role will be crucial for the design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions that optimize production, logistics, and warehouse management, ensuring every process, from make-to-order to engineering-to-order, is handled efficiently and intelligently.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Implementation:  Design and implement IT solutions for  MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) ,  WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) , and other  Industry 4.0  technologies (e.g., machine connectivity, IIoT, etc.).

Systems Integration:  Ensure the seamless integration of factory systems with the ERP ecosystem, particularly with  SAP  and  Microsoft Dynamics 365 , as well as with supplier portals and  OEE  analytics platforms.

Support and Troubleshooting:  Provide second-level support and resolve complex issues on factory systems, ensuring operational continuity in a high-intensity production environment.

Project Management:  Actively participate in  IT demand management  for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain areas, coordinating projects from requirements analysis to final  quality assurance .

Continuous Improvement and cybersecurity:  Contribute to the optimization of production and logistics processes by proposing and implementing new technological solutions, acting as a true agent of change. Identify, plan and deploy cybersecurity measures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a specialist or consultant in projects related to  MES, WMS, and/or Industry 4.0 , with at least 3-5 years of experience in complex manufacturing environments.

Strong knowledge of  production, logistics, and warehouse processes .

Ability to integrate factory systems with ERP platforms (in particular  SAP PP, MM, WM ) and other business applications.

Experience in  project management  and complex  problem-solving .

A passion for technology and innovation applied to manufacturing.

Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Language

Skills:

Fluency in both  Italian and English . Knowledge of  German  or  Portuguese  is a plus.
