Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Acute Physiotherapist to join an established acute services team based in Aintree, Liverpool. This full-time, ongoing role offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to work within a fast-paced acute hospital setting, supporting high-quality patient care and timely discharge planning.

Competitive hourly rate of £30.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake timely physiotherapy assessments on Ward 7 to determine patients’ discharge readiness
  • Plan and deliver appropriate physiotherapy interventions to support safe and effective discharge
  • Participate in parallel planning to ensure continuity of care and patient flow
  • Develop, implement, and review individualised rehabilitation and exercise programmes
  • Liaise closely with hospital teams, community services, and multidisciplinary colleagues
  • Contribute to efficient patient flow and discharge processes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards
  • HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Proven experience working within an acute hospital setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence to support community liaison where required
