About The Role
Please note that this is a bank role. HC‑One – the Kind Care Company – is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our committed care‑home teams at HC‑One Southport, England.
As a Registered Nurse you will practice in a nurse‑led environment, develop complex decision‑making and collaborative skills, and provide person‑centred care for residents and their families.
Responsibilities- Deliver high quality nursing care and support to residents at a time when they may feel most vulnerable
- Advocate for and deliver a person‑centred approach to care, ensuring residents’ wishes and dignity are respected
- Act as a practice supervisor and assessor for student nurses, providing mentoring and support
- Maintain effective communication – both verbally and in writing – with residents, families, colleagues and the wider healthcare team
- Understand and implement safeguarding procedures; recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns appropriately
- Adhere to the NMC standards of practice and uphold HC‑One values of kindness, curiosity, compassion, creativity, courage and dependability
- Registered Nurse with a valid Pan‑Number (PIN) and NMC registration
- Minimum of 12 months experience in health or social care
- Demonstrated experience in a care‑home or similar setting is desirable
- Commitment to the NMC standards of practice and to continuous professional development
You will be a kind, compassionate professional with a passion for mentoring, knowledge sharing and supporting fellow nurses. You will model professional behaviour, communicate effectively, and be able to develop strong therapeutic relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
