Support Worker – Epilepsy & Complex Needs

Part-time or full-time

We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to support a young person with epilepsy and complex needs in the Maghull / Sefton area.

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care
• Assist sensitively with personal care
• Support with epilepsy management and follow care plans
• Assist with communication, sensory needs and mobility
• Help with daily routines within the home and local community
• Maintain accurate notes and follow safeguarding procedures

• Strong English language skills (spoken and written) to ensure clear communication with the individual, family and professionals
• Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy
• Experience working with complex needs or learning disabilities
• Patient, caring and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and remain calm in challenging situations

• Epilepsy rescue medication training
• Manual handling training
• Experience working in a family home
