Veterinary Care Assistant

Your role will be based at our Aintree practice, where you will join a bright, spacious, air–conditioned facility equipped with digital X‑ray and in‑house laboratory services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual who is eager to learn and support a team of vets, vet nurses, and reception staff. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, allowing you to become a valued member of the practice quickly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Keeping the clinic clean, tidy and organised.
• Feeding and monitoring in‑patients.
• Running clinical tests and handling a variety of small animals.
• Assisting with preparation for operations and deep cleaning of all areas.
• Communicating with clients by phone and in person.
• Maintaining basic computer literacy.

This is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week role, working 1 in 3 weekends on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
