Teacher Active is a well-established supply agency recruiting Kitchen Staff to work across primary and secondary schools throughout Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working in a school environment and want flexible work that fits around their schedule.

As a School Kitchen Staff member, you will support the daily preparation and service of meals in school kitchens. You may work in a variety of schools, assisting catering teams to ensure meals are prepared, served, and cleaned up safely and efficiently.

Key Duties

Assisting with food preparation, cooking, and serving meals

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Following food safety and allergen procedures

Washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and tidying work areas

Supporting the catering team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Food Safety in Catering) – essential

Previous kitchen or catering experience (school experience desirable but not essential)

Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Willingness to work in different school settings
