Front of House Receptionist

Job Title: Front of House Receptionist - Private Fertility Clinic

Salary: £25,000-£27,000 (depending on experience)

Probation: 3-6 months (performance-based)

Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (a driver is preferred due to the location)

Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, 40 hours per week

Some weekend work required, with time off in lieu

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: Immediate (but happy to wait for the right person)

We are seeking a warm, engaging and highly organised Front of House Receptionist to join a high-end private fertility clinic in Borehamwood. This is a busy, patient-facing role where you will play a key part in ensuring every individual receives an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a calm, welcoming and professional presence in what can often be an emotional and sensitive journey.

• Greeting patients and managing check-ins in a friendly and reassuring manner
• Booking and managing appointments
• Registering new patients and updating records
• Handling payments and providing information on clinic services
• Managing incoming calls and email enquiries
• Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey
• Working closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations

• Bubbly, confident and highly professional
• Strong communication and administrative skills
• Able to remain calm, organised and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
• Experience as a Medical or Private Healthcare Receptionist is desirable
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes
• Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
