Professional Dog Stylist Wanted at Pets at Home in Borehamwood. Full-time position with a permanent contract and salary £13.85 per hour.

We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Stylist / Groomer to join our busy salon. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead grooming appointments, delivering high-quality grooms with care, precision, and a personal touch. You’ll interact with pet owners daily, so strong communication and customer service skills are essential. You’ll help ensure pets feel great, as well as look great, with our training and development opportunities including Earn as You Learn programmes and additional skill-based pay enhancements.

• Perform grooming across all aspects of dog grooming, including bathing, drying, breed-specific styling, and finishing
• Lead grooming appointments and deliver high-quality results
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with pet owners

• Experienced, qualified and confident in all aspects of dog grooming
• Hold a grooming qualification
• Flexible and reliable with a variable schedule across six days a week (minimum 24 hours/week, with potential for more during busy periods)
• Team oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced retail environment
• Goal driven; experience in target-led environments is preferred but not essential

• Attractive rates of pay plus commission (subject to targets)
• 28 days paid annual leave, rising to 33 days after 2 years (includes bank holidays; pro-rata for contracted hours)
