Mortgage Administrator
Location:
Bournemouth

Salary: £25,000-£30,000
Hours: Full time, permanent – Standard hours 8:30am–5:00pm (with 1 hour lunch) – Hybrid/Flexible working arrangements available

The Opportunity
As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mortgage applications. This position involves working closely with mortgage advisers to provide high-quality administrative support and ensure clients enjoy a seamless experience from initial enquiry to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mortgage Administration: Support mortgage advisers (both employed and self-employed) in processing cases from initial enquiry through to completion.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders regarding case progress.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the company’s systems for audit and compliance purposes.

  • General Administration: Carry out a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the business.

About You
Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in dealing with clients and stakeholders.

  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Previous administrative experience (training can be provided for the right candidate).

  • Experience in financial services or mortgage administration.

  • Knowledge of financial services software.
