We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established contractor on the South Coast, with live projects in Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth. The business is privately owned and in a strong cash position, with a portfolio of projects across the commercial, extra care, residential and hotel & leisure sectors. As a result of a recent key project win, they're now looking to expand the commercial team.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects alongside the Project Manager, reporting into the Head of Construction. Projects will likely be across Hampshire and Dorset.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Work alongside the pre-construction team through 2nd stage tenders
• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

• Hold a HNC / construction related degree
• Have administered JCT forms of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must be happy to commute to Sites across Hampshire and Dorset as required
