The Role
As a Town Planner - Associate Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing planning applications from start to finish, preparing detailed site assessments, and drafting high-quality planning statements. You will be formulating planning strategies, providing expert advice to clients, and working closely with local authorities and stakeholders to secure positive outcomes.
You will be leading on a variety of projects, offering both the autonomy to manage your own workload and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in a close-knit team. This is a role where you will be given responsibility, visibility, and the chance to influence projects of all sizes.
Skills and Experience
You will bring:

· A relevant planning degree and RTPI membership (or working towards).

· Strong technical knowledge of planning legislation and procedures.

· Proven experience in preparing and submitting planning applications.

· Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

· The ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships effectively.

· A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the confidence to take the lead.
