As a Prime Brokerage Settlements Part-Time Associate within JPMorgan, you will support a varied scope of operations activities within Prime Brokerage Post-Trade Settlement and Reconciliation operations covering hedge fund clients in Europe and North America. You will help support global functional process owners to achieve compliance benchmarks and explore opportunities to strengthen our risk and control operating model.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with global functional process owners to address gaps and achieve required compliance benchmarks.
- Engage in deep-dive process reviews and assess the completeness of process controls activities, ensuring they meet established business operating standards.
- Support process improvements and contribute to automation and strategic development programs.
- Use data analytics to monitor trends and influence client and broker behaviour with data-driven insights.
- Generate, review, and analyse standard risk and control reporting.
- Proven expertise in a product or workflow within financial services.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Disciplined approach to operational risk management.
- Experience analysing large data sets to identify trends and drive change.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Optimistic, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Prime Brokerage products (mainly Fixed Income and Equity markets) and settlement operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
