Salary: £38,000 annually plus £2,000 joining bonus.

Location:

Bournemouth.

Service – Redcroft, Apple House Care (10‑bed residential home for people with learning disabilities, autism and health needs).

The Registered Manager Position
  • Lead services ensuring health and wellbeing of individuals and colleagues.
  • Ensure quality, governance, legal, statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship, lead by example.
  • Balance operations, staff leave, meetings and training compliance.
  • Develop relationships with families, external professionals and regulators.
  • Support transition of new people into services from assessment to achieving potential.
  • Emphasise documentation and efficient communication.
  • Report effectively to support quality and compliance.
  • Must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
About You
  • Experience working with learning disabilities, mental health or complex behaviours across multiple sites.
  • Established Registered Manager seeking a new challenge.
  • Detail‑oriented with a passion for quality and governance.
  • Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care or qualified through experience; support will be provided to achieve this level if needed.
  • Strong leadership values; people are at the heart of everything.
  • Excellent communicator, able to influence at different levels.
  • Strong time‑management skills, initiative and eagerness to continuously improve.
  • Enjoys a dynamic environment; flexible to work 7 days a week, covering shifts and on‑call rota as required.
  • Relentless focus on person‑centred care, unlocking the potential of those served.
