As a Data Operations Senior Associate within Global Vendor Relationship team, you will be a key driver in transforming strategic plans into tangible programs and projects, delivering impactful results across various business units. You will leverage your deep knowledge and expertise in project management to navigate complex issues, make informed decisions, and ensure the successful execution of programs. Your role will involve significant cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and conflict management to align operations initiatives with business strategy.

Your ability to think strategically, adapt to change, and deliver excellent customer service will be crucial in this role.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead the transformation of strategic plans into high-impact programs and projects, utilizing expertise in project management and strategic thinking to deliver results across various business units.
  • Oversee program execution, ensuring alignment with business strategy, effective risk mitigation, and timely delivery of commitments.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor program progress, make informed decisions, and direct necessary adjustments for successful delivery.
  • Engage with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on program progress and collaborating to resolve issues.
  • Manage and maintain key market data vendor strategic relationships across a product-aligned domain.
  • Negotiate complex contract terms and conditions, as well as commercials, to optimize vendor partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce vendor spend across the firm and oversee planning for significant vendor change activity.
  • Use a metrics-based system to manage vendor service output and ensure quality delivery.
  • Liaise with Product, Change & Operations teams, Technology, Global Supplier Services, and Legal to manage data vendor-related projects and contract execution.
  • Act as a conduit between the business and vendors to manage service enhancements and build strong internal stakeholder relationships at senior levels.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex programs or projects, delivering results across various business units.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to interpret models, make inferences from data, and provide continuous insight for program execution.
  • Advanced computer literacy, with the ability to effectively use technology to perform tasks, solve problems, and communicate in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in strategic thinking, with the ability to use data to understand issues and opportunities, evaluate potential scenarios, and collaborate on strategy and priority development.
  • Third party/vendor relationship management experience either at a market data vendor or Tier One Asset Manager/Fund Administrator.
  • Negotiation/commercial awareness skills.
  • Knowledge of investment instruments security types from a pricing and instrument reference data perspective.
  • Industry-wide market data vendor & vendor product knowledge.

  • Integrate artificial intelligence solutions to enhance project outcomes and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement automation to streamline project workflows and increase operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Securities Services experience within a Global Fund Administrator.
