Gas Engineer - Safety & Quality Auditor (Full-Time) - Bournemouth / Poole

Join CORGI Technical Services as a Gas Engineer - Safety & Quality Auditor. This is a remote position based in the BH postcode area but requires regular travel across the South West and South Central regions, covering Bournemouth/Poole, Dorset, Hampshire & surrounding areas.

Role Overview

As an auditor, you will conduct inspections, audits and quality‑control checks on gas installations using our bespoke mobile application. Your duties include:

  • Conducting predetermined audits within agreed timelines, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements and best practices.
  • Inspecting installations for safety and compliance, providing support to other auditors in the region.
  • Handling technical inquiries and providing information on gas safety.
  • Inputting findings into CORGI’s digital platform and complying with company policies and procedures.
  • Planning work and managing multiple contracts within the region.
Schedule
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
Location & Start Date

Home‑based within the BH postcode area with regular travel across the South West and South Central regions. Expected start date:
January 2026.

Pay & Employment

£35,000 starting salary (negotiable, dependent on experience). PAYE; benefits and bonus available.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the gas industry with detailed knowledge of domestic gas installations.
  • Relevant domestic ACS gas qualifications (minimum: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CRK1).
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of compliance and legislation.
  • Strong focus on quality of work and safety.
Desirable
  • Commercial ACS gas qualifications.
  • Experience with commercial gas installations.
  • Experience working in social housing for a provider or contractor.
