Established in 1981, JD Sports Fashion Plc is a leading omni‑channel retailer of sports fashion, outdoors and gyms. We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers during the seasonal period.

• Provide a knowledgeable and seamless customer experience for all customers that enter the store.
• Continuously maintain clean and tidy stock standards on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and KPI targets through knowledge of current trends, in‑store promotions and evolving store processes.
• Drive sales, ensuring that targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
• Utilise the in‑store devices, offering the customer the whole product range and providing alternatives and add‑on sales at every opportunity.
• Replenish stock levels when needed, ensuring full product range is available on the shop floor.
• Ensure that product is priced correctly.
• Deputise for other staff, work within departments or carry out other duties as required.
• Represent JD Sports in the most professional manner and conduct work in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock to maintain optimal product availability.

• Confident interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in social situations and engaging with customers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
