Pets at Home is seeking a dedicated Deputy Store Manager to oversee day‑to‑day store operations and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer and pet care service. The role is full‑time, permanent and based in Westover Retail Park, Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, Dorset.

• Inspire and lead the store team to create a fun, engaging and customer‑focused environment.
• Drive sales performance and achieve key KPI targets.
• Oversee all store operations, including recruitment, stock management and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Act as Duty Manager when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Lead by example and contribute to the overall success of the store.

• At least 1 year of management experience in a retail environment.
• Passionate about retail and delivering exceptional results.
• Flexible to work a 7‑day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and inspire the team.
• Ready to commit to 6 months of training covering customer service, health and safety and pet care.
