Job Description
As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology division, you will contribute to the management and security of the Azure platform by designing and developing software solutions. You will have the opportunity to write secure and high-quality code, apply system processes, and solve technical problems, all while embracing our team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the management and security of the Azure platform at JPMorgan
Chase through the design and development of software solutions. - Write secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems.
- Apply technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity.
- Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.
- Embrace team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
- Formal training or certification on Computer Science concepts and expanding applied experience
- Experience with cloud computing and Terraform.
- Familiarity with automation and continuous delivery methods, including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language - Python
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and the Azure SDK.
- Desire to learn and continuously grow.
- Experience with Azure Policy and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
- A cloud certificate e.g. an Azure certification or Hashi Corp Certified:
Terraform Associate.
