Working Hours

41 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 06:45 - 18:00 (4 out of 5 days)

About the Role:

As a Packing Skilled Operative, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

• Escalating any issues to Technical Operatives or Process Leader
• Working proactively to ensure that the production lines are running effectively
• Carrying out hourly production and quality control checks
• Recording production data both electronic and paper based
• Ensuring that the product is packed correctly and to high standard expectations
• Reporting information back to section managers
• Cleaning equipment and modules on a rotation schedule

What you’ll need to be successful:

• A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and a responsible attitude to tasks
• Be self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
