41 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 06:45 - 18:00 (4 out of 5 days).
AboutThe Role
As a Packing Skilled Operative you’ll work in a fast‑paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment that can be noisy and refrigerated in some areas, producing short shelf‑life products where hygiene standards are critical.
- Escalate any issues to Technical Operatives or Process Leader
- Work proactively to ensure production lines run effectively
- Carry out hourly production and quality control checks
- Record production data both electronically and on paper
- Ensure that the product is packed correctly and to a high standard
- Report information back to section managers
- Clean equipment and modules on a rotation schedule
- A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a responsible attitude to tasks
- Be self‑motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
