Position: Estimator / Senior Estimator
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist division of a global Tier 1 contractor, working on projects ranging from £500,000 to £20m. Even if your previous experience is up to £5m, we encourage you to apply.

In this role, you will work alongside industry experts in a high-performing team, contributing to projects that are shaping the construction landscape. You’ll gain exposure to complex projects while helping to drive the business forward with your estimating expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of projects, from small-scale works up to £20m.

Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to ensure accurate pricing.

Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.

Contribute to the development of tender strategies and value engineering solutions.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry costs, materials, and labour rates.

Produce clear and detailed reports for senior management and clients.

Support the team in continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, ideally with exposure to projects in the range of £500k – £20m.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and procurement processes.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Experience with relevant estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
