Overview
You'll be working on bespoke PCB designs for specialist, low volume applications for military, marine and communication applications.
Your initial design concepts will be part of bid proposals then converted into detailed designs for production and delivery to their customers.
Responsibilities- Develop schematic capture, PCB layouts, prototype building and testing for bespoke PCB designs.
- Work closely with end user customers to understand requirements and specifications.
- Contribute to bid proposals and convert concepts into production-ready designs.
- Ensure designs meet project timelines for fast-moving, varied work.
- 3-5 years commercial experience in electronics design.
- Experience in schematic capture, PCB layouts, prototype building and testing.
- Experience working closely with end user customers.
- Knowledge of EMC testing, embedded software, electrical wiring, equipment integration and mechanical enclosure design is highly beneficial.
