HGV Technician

** Salary** - The salary offered for this role is up to £42,700, plus a shift premium (calculated from the bottom of the pay range). Your potential earnings could be up to £50,000 including Shift premium and OTE (On Target Earnings).
** Working Hours** - Full time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota, with the expectation of working 1 in 2 Saturdays, at premium overtime rates.
** Contract type** - This is a  permanent role.
* To ensure all vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard to both VOSA and Partnership’s requirements.
* To ensure that all inspection/service/defect  paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
* Maintain a safe working practice that complies with current safety and Partnership regulations
* To ensure that high quality repairs are carried out in a cost effective manner.
* Ensure that all working areas are kept clean and tidy.
* To assist in specific projects as directed.
* To keep up to date of developments within the motor industry and take note of changes that may affect the effective operation of the workshop.
* To carry out servicing & repairs of the Partnerships fleet of vehicles.
* To take ownership of personal development, seeking assistance & guidance from team leaders  
* To account for your own time, be efficient and pro active when working within the workshop.
* To work as part of the team and assist others where needed.
* City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence
* A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
* Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness
* A 'C' or 'C+E' driving licence is desirable, but not essential
