Base pay range
Hours: 37.5
Salary: £33,000-£39,000 (Salary based on experience)
Working within the Quality Team:
- Complete regular service reviews across the company to ensure high standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
- There will be occasions when overnight stays are required to complete service review visits across all services.
- Keep up to date with regulatory and legislative changes relevant to inspection of services.
- Produce reports, keep spreadsheets and summaries up to date for quality reports.
- Support the Quality team with the development of quality‑related work and projects.
- Assist in organising and attending events the Quality Team may be involved in.
- Attend regular quality meetings, complete minutes and ensure actions are completed timely.
- Provide relevant information to the Director of Quality & Deputy Director of Quality to assist with the production of the Quality Bulletin and regular memos.
- Assist the quality team with the work around external quality programmes.
- Attend manager meetings to provide information on quality improvement and share with the staff team.
- Complete reviews of internal policies, procedures and guidance to share company‑wide.
- Support the development and running of the Quality Assurance programme.
- Complete allocated service review visits using the agreed format across all services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policy.
- Support services to improve the quality of care by carrying out thorough service review visits and identifying actions required to guide managers.
- Provide verbal feedback to the management team within the homes following the completion of the review visit.
- Provide clear reports and feedback to relevant people, including the Registered Manager, Quality and Operations Teams.
- Summarise the results of review visits into an agreed format for the Director of Quality and identify themes across the company.
- Analyse the results of these service review visits within the Quality Team.
- Ensure managers have sufficient evidence around the actions set from the service review visits.
- Assist with the review and development of the service review format and process.
- Speak to relatives, staff teams and professionals linked to services to obtain feedback for review visits and other surveys.
- Assist during regular CQC action plan review visits completed within homes that have received a rating of RI or below from CQC inspections.
- Ensure a CQC action plan is in place highlighting areas of concern from previous CQC inspections.
- Visit homes regularly to review progress made on the CQC action plan and highlight positive progress and repeat concerns.
- Provide feedback after visits to the Registered Manager and to members of the Operations & Quality Team.
- Support services following internal or external monitoring and inspection to make improvements and provide feedback and evidence as required by the regulator and other stakeholders.
- Assist with improvement plans and direct support to services when required.
- Provide support to services around action plans and review the completion of actions where required.
- Provide support and guidance to services after service review visits on how to complete actions.
- Review CQC & CIW reports on our services and identify themes and ways to improve quality of care.
- Assist with follow‑up investigations where required.
- Update the CQC & CIW Inspection Report database following the draft and final report to keep the summary up to date.
- Ensure up to date ratings posters are shared with home managers.
- Provide training around quality to staff within the organisation.
- Review quality training presentations and packages regularly to ensure they provide up‑to‑date information for learners.
- Provide training and induction for the expert quality auditors.
