Overview

Join the Contracts Administrator role at Bagnalls in Bradford, England, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position to support the Project Management team in the day-to-day administration of complex national painting and decorating contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Management team.
  • Assist with document management, including contracts, reports, and correspondence.
  • Help tracking project timelines and milestones.
  • Assist with invoicing and paperwork related to project progress.
  • Organise and maintain project files and ensure information is easily accessible.
  • Regular communication with customers and branch colleagues.
  • Reconcile aged debtor accounts, keeping accounts up to date and pursuing outstanding debts.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal/external communications.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous administrative experience is essential.
  • Experience in the construction, utilities, or facilities management sector is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with both numerical and other data.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in supporting project teams within the construction or related sectors.
  • Knowledge of project documentation and contract administration processes.
  • Previous experience in sales or account management.
