Location: Buttershaw, Bradford. Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office
. As part of the role, you will be required to travel to different Yorkshire Water locations, therefore a full valid UK driving licence is essential for the role with no more than 6 points. This role will initially be based in Bradford but we're moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so you'll be based there in the future

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

The focus for the role over the next year will be driving our below ground Infrastructure programme of work for our AMP8 (2025 - 2030) capital programme to ensure we deliver our 5-year programme.

The Capital Delivery team consists of Yorkshire Water colleagues, contract partners, sub-contractors and consultants working collaboratively to deliver the majority of the capital programme for the company. Over the next five-year period, we anticipate a programme of work in the region of £ 3 billion of investment covering the whole range of water and wastewater assets. The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this portfolio of capital projects.

The purpose of the role is to drive delivery of a subprogramme within the capital programme to time, cost, and quality, achieving best value outcomes. The role will manage a subprogramme delivering over £50m per year capital investment in our clean and wastewater asset base.

You will be accountable for delivering programmes of work as part of the new AMP8 delivery model and working with Yorkshire Water and external stakeholders across Water, Waste, and our new Alliance.

• Lead and inspire a team to deliver a programme of work that supports the business strategy and outcomes across Water, Waste and the Alliance delivery streams.
• Develop and coach your team and provide strong leadership across your programme of work.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders within Yorkshire Water regarding the implementation of the AMP8 Strategy and AMP8 Programme of work.
