Building Services Design Engineer

White Label is working with a well-established MEP design consultancy based in Bradford that's looking to bring in a Design Engineer with a background in mechanical building services.

This is a key role in a close-knit team that values quality, consistency, and clear communication.

You’ll be supporting engineers across a range of sectors – education, healthcare, residential, and commercial – producing detailed mechanical layouts for HVAC, hot and cold water, and associated plant.

My client is open to candidate with 2-3 years of experience up to senior level with the salary being between £30,000 – £45,000 depending on experience.

• Creating accurate 2D drawings and schematics using AutoCAD
• Working closely with Mechanical Engineers to deliver coordinated designs
• Maintaining drawing standards and document control
• Supporting engineers with markups, revisions and project updates
• Assisting in the production of O&M manuals and record drawings

• Experience producing mechanical building services drawings
• Strong AutoCAD skills (2D essential; 3D advantageous)
• Understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, pipework and plant layouts
• Ability to work from engineer markups and specifications
• Good communicator, organised, and proactive in your approach
• Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
