Registered Nurse – Cherrybrook Care Home

We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our vibrant team at Cherrybrook Care Home. As a key member of the care team, you’ll deliver clinical excellence, holistic care, and leadership to our residents and their families.

• £22.88 per hour

• Collaborate with residents, families and health professionals to design and implement personalized care plans.
• Observe and document resident conditions accurately and legally.
• Lead shift teams, ensuring clear roles and excellent care delivery.
• Oversee shift handovers to maintain continuity and safety.
• Perform routine observations and manage specific health needs.
• Safely administer medications, adhering to MAR sheets and protocols.
• Build trusting relationships, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.
• Support residents in daily activities, encouraging independence.
• Respond to emergencies and utilize on‑call systems for rapid action.
• Champion respect, dignity, and individuality of every resident.
• Promote social engagement and activities, enriching resident lives.
• Maintain vigilance on health and safety, ensuring a secure environment.
• Advocate for balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.

• Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
• Passion for care and dedication to improving resident lives (care home experience a plus).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, creating warmth, understanding, and calm demeanour.
• Strong communication skills – clarity, empathy and respect in interactions with residents, families and teams.
