Shift: Backshift - 3:45pm till 2am

Based in Bradford, our client is a precision engineering specialist, Covering a wide range of industries such as food and beverage manufacturing, medical, utilities, chemical packaging and recycling.

Job description

The role of CNC Programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:
Programming, Setting & Operating Milling machines, using Haas or Fanuc Controls
Be able to use basic inspection equipment.
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Milling Machines with Fanuc or Hass controls
Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
Professional and self-motivated attitude.
Good organisational & time management skills.
Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC Turning machines with Fanuc or Haas controls.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to interpret them accurately.
Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship, but experience is the key factor.
A professional, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.
