The successful candidate will lead and manage a communications and engagement team, and the communication activities across all channels.

They will prepare and co-ordinate agreement to proactive and re-active media statements and releases as needed, supplementing the work of others in the team and in line with agreed sign off processes and will build relationships internally and with partners including ensuring an effective approach to Trust communications.

Advise the Trust on matters relating to communications, and assist in developing the Trust's policies and procedures in this area
