Overview

This volunteer role supports the Lady's Activity Group at Bradford Hospice, helping create a welcoming space for females affected by terminal illness, carers, and widowers to connect and take part in meaningful activities. Availability:
Fridays, 12:30-14:30.

Please note: Due to the nature of the group and the environment, this role is for female volunteers only at present to meet service user needs. We welcome interest from all individuals and are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion across all volunteer opportunities.

What you'll be doing
  • Create a warm, welcoming space for group activities
  • Chat with patients, carers, and widowers
  • Plan and lead engaging sessions for the Lady's Activity Group
  • Promote the Lady's Activity Group within the hospice and local community
  • Identify equipment or materials needed and liaise with your volunteer manager
  • Support with other related tasks as needed
