CMM Programmer

Mechanical Inspectors with strong PC-DMIS programming skills opportunity in this fast growing successful sub contract precision engineering company.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess strong general manual inspection skills and must have expertise in PC-DMIS programming.

• Conduct detailed mechanical inspections in accordance with established quality standards and specifications.
• Utilise PC-DMIS programming for efficient and accurate inspection processes.
• Identify and document any discrepancies or defects, collaborating with the production team for resolution.
• Prepare and maintain inspection logs and records for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

• Proven experience in a mechanical inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proficient in PC-DMIS programming for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Common sense attitude and an understanding of machining.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
