We are looking to direct hire two 2nd class Shift Operator Engineers, for our client in Brampton.

Shift (2nd class) Operating Engineers needed immediately

$110K per year salary

Primary Shift Engineer will be working continental shifts

Relief Shift Engineer will be working shift (M-F, 8 hour days) – will need to work continental when required

Responsibilities:

Scheduling and supervising operations employees (assistant shift engineers, loader operators)

Allocating work assignments

Monitoring, diagnosing and resolving operating issues

Assessing the quantity and quality of work performed by operating employees

Ensuring the site is operated in compliance with H&S and Environmental standards

Complete regular inspections of all facility operations

Coordinate equipment repair with Maintenance Dept.

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

5+ years experience in operation and maintenance of thermal and power generation equipment, as well as experience with municipal solid waste incineration and heat recovery equipment

5+ years experience in the supervision of shift operations

Ontario Stationary Engineer Second Class certificate of qualification

Familiar with the operation of DCS and operator interface stations
