ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Hydraulic Technician, you’ll play a key role in assembling, installing, and testing custom hydraulic systems. Working closely with a skilled team, you’ll be responsible for interpreting schematics, performing installations, and troubleshooting systems on specialized equipment. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for someone with hands-on hydraulic experience and a solid mechanical foundation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and assemble hydraulic systems, including PTOs, pumps, compressors, cranes, and outriggers
• Test hydraulic systems to ensure proper function, pressure regulation, and absence of leaks
• Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic components and recommend solutions
• Support engineering by reviewing and interpreting system schematics on the shop floor
• Maintain tools and equipment through routine preventative maintenance
• Complete required assembly and testing documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with hydraulic installation or troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
• Experience working in a manufacturing or custom equipment environment is preferred

Company Type: Non-Union

Salary: $28-34.00/hour + $1.50/hour (Shift Premium)

Location: Halton, ON

Shift: Straight Afternoons, Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-12:00am

Vacation: 3 weeks
