The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35.00 - $45.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
Summary:
Responsible for integrating, installing, testing, and providing training and support (both remote and on-site) for various automated coding and printing systems.
Essential Functions:
- Install, set up, and troubleshoot automated grade marking, coding, and printing systems.
- Contribute to the development of new system concepts or the optimization and improvement of existing equipment.
- Actively participate in tests according to customer project specifications using hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments.
- Read and interpret engineered drawings and equipment specifications.
- Perform project quality control checkout procedures and troubleshoot any issues identified.
- Provide customer training upon completion of on-site commissioning.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
- Demonstrate the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and application issues on industrial machine lines.
Education:
Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Engineering Technologist, Trades certification or College equivalent

Ability to travel to client sites in the US and throughout Quebec and Ontario 25-30%.
Experience:
- Atleast5yearsofexperienceinautomationwithinmanufacturing/industrial.
- Musthavepracticalworkingexperiencein
PLCProgramming
Logic(Allen Bradley). - Experiencewithcustomerserviceinthefieldandoverthephone.
- Strongknowledgeofelectricalassembly,pneumatics,andPLCs.
- Exposuretobasicscanningandvisionsystems.
- Experiencewithinkjetcodingandlumbergrademarkingsystemsisasignificantasset.
